Newtons in Manchester 2024
Thursday 26 September 2024 The Aussie Newtons Today we are flying to Manchester and hoping to meet Richard's Australian relatives, Margo and Christine, and possibly their partners. I send them Christmas cards every year, and occasionally we have a letter from them. We had a photo of them recently from David N, who seems to be the main contact person. We have checked in for our flight LX380 with Swiss at 17.05, which arrives in Manchester at 18.00. The UK is behind us in time. We have hired a car at Manchester Airport in order to drive to David's and Cheri's, a two-hour drive. Richard has written notes about the journey via various motorways, but I prefer a map. Our UK maps are always out of date... Looking forward to seeing D&C and enjoying their hospitality. We will be getting the train to the airport via Zurich HB.
